My Family
I want to
share with you guys about my family. My family is not that big, just consist of
5 family members. Firstly, I want to introduce my father. My father’s name is
Yap Nyit Lin. He is 55 years old and he is a seller in Kuala Lumpur. I’m quite
jealous with my father because he can do all sort household chores such as
cleaning housework and even cooking. Although my father is a man with little
words but he is the pride of the family. Playing golf is my father’s hobby.
Occasionally, my father and brother will head to Bukit Jalil to play golf on
Friday and Saturday.
Next, is my strict mother. My mother, Yau Bee
Lee, is 53 years old. She is an accountant in Kuala Langat. I’m always cautious
with my mother since she is strict and I’ve experiencedit when I got bad results
in exam or went out with my friends, she will scold me like there is no
tomorrow. Even though she is strict, she knows how to have fun and that is with
singing since that’s her hobby. My mother and her friends go to the karaoke
studio at least 3 to 4 times a week.
Thirdly, is my undoubtly beautiful sister.
My sister’s name is Yap Fong Ying, 25 years old. She was married before and had
a cute daughter. My sister is a telemarketer in Singapore. My sister and I are
like twins regardless of different age
we do have somethings in common. Her hobby is reading especially novels. So
when she have time to spare, she will read novel in her bedroom. Once she
enterd her “reading mode”, even me or my family members won’t bother her
because she pays no mind while reading.
Not to
mention, I also has a younger brother. My brother is 15 years old and he is
preparing for PT3 in this year. His hobby is playing basketball, so every
Friday he will come back home late than usual so that he can playbasketball at
his school. Last but not least, is me, the second last in the family. My name
is Yap Yee Qing. I’m 19 years old. I’m student at Kolej Poly –Tech Mara Kota Bharu. My hobby is playingbadminton.
As a matter in fact, I’m a shy and quiet
kind of a girljust like my father. In fact,if I ever want something, I’ll just write a letter to my family and they
will just transfer the money that I need.
To be honest, I’m enviouswith others such as
my friends that they have lovely family while I’m not. My father and my mother
had a divorced while I’m in my last year of secondary school . I never know the
reasons they had a divorce. I tried to ask my mother but she replied that I was
too young to learn the reasons why we did it but nevertheless I still love my
family. For the record, I only had one old family photo in my life since I
studied in Terenganu most of the time so I rarely come back home .
